Tuesday Tune ft P!nk III

I thought I'd post the rest of the my videos from the concert from a week and a half ago. I'm still on a P!nk kick I suppose.

First video is an acoustic version of her song 'TROUBLE' from her 'Try This' album. (I like this video at the end cuz she makes a funny face. I cut it off at the right time. lol)

Next video is called 'SOBER'. Really cool song. P!nk told us she recently had shoulder surgery and was almost going to have to cancel our show. But she said "FUCK NO!" lol BUT... she wasn't able to do the acrobatic act she usually is able to. In either case, it was superrr cool to see. =) I think I cut if off RIGHT before something, that I'm sure wasn't planned, was that the guy, the 'catcher', missed the girl!!! Luckily she's has a harness on. But I'm wondering if that's how P!nk got hurt. Prolly a mishap. Eeeek!

Here she performs her single, and titled tour show, 'FUNHOUSE'. I musta really been into this song cuz i recorded the whole bit of it. I was trying to reserve as much space on my memory card to get a lil pieces of at least everything. That's why alot of my clips are short and cut off. But I'm cracking up to myself cuz at the very end she says something that I don't think I caught at the show. After she says thank you she points to someone and says "You're on nipple patrol, okay?" LMAO. It was due to her outfit. View Exhibit A: from her 2009 VMA performance. Same outfit.

Fun video. She covered Gnarls Barkley's "CRAZY". Unexpected but cool to hear someone else sing it.

And last but not least.. personally I think this should have been an opening song, not a closing song, but the last video i was able to capture before I ran outta memory was 'GET THE PARTY STARTED'.

P.S. noooo that's not ME singing in the background. Ok ok ok ok, it's not ONLY me. lol ;)

I had so much fun! Wonder who I'll see next. :D

Tuesday Tune ft. P!nk

This past Thursday, me and one of my best friends went to go see P!nk in concert in San Jose. We had such an AWESOME time! P!nk is such a bad ass. We danced. We grooved. We sang. We screamed. We nearly lost our voices. She had a 22 song setlist covering new music like "Bad Influence", "Please Don't Leave Me" and "So What", and old music like "Just Like A Pill", "Don't Let Me Get Me", "Trouble" and "Get The Party Started". That wasn't all. She also did covers of other artist's hits. Such as The Divinyls "I Touch Myself", Gnarls Barkley "Crazy", and some good ol' Led Zeppelin "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You", AC/DC "Highway To Hell" as an intro, and Queen's "Bohemian Rhasphody". The costumes were cool. The stage was cool. The music kept you moving. We had so much fun! Good times!

For my Tuesday Tune I share a few of my photos and my videos from the concert.

ENJOY!

Tuesday Tune ft. P!nk II

.... Video clips from P!nk Concert (9-17-09) ...

Warning: Shakiness and Wobbling Frame due to Dancing. I apologize. LOL

First Video: Opening Number. Titled: BAD INFLUENCE

One of my favorite songs from an older album. Titled: JUST LIKE A PILL

This was an awesome part of the show. Wasn't expected. Sexy. Hot. P!nk's cover of The Divinyls 'WHEN I TOUCH MYSELF'.

Besides lookin' hot in her outfit, the song was pretty cool too. Lol Titled: PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME.

Gotta love P!nk for her creativeness, but a song telling guys to back off cuz us girls aren't interested and its just 'U + UR HAND' tonight? That's classic P!nk.

So again I apologize. This clip is probably a lil more shaky. Can't help but rock out when u hear these songs. lol Titled: LEAVE ME ALONE (I'm Lonely) into SO WHAT.

Tuesday Tune

So I love me some music. I love all kinds of music. Different genres, singers, sounds. But I def love me some soul. Some blues. Some jazz. Some rock and roll. Lucky for me, this past Saturday I was invited to go check out one of our own Bay locals, show off his musical talents. He's a co-worker of a friend, and he was going to be playing at Bullwackers in Monterey. I've never been to the place and I've never heard him play live. So I was excited. I was even more excited that he played well. And I was groovin! I was able to get some decent 'sound' video of him. The 'visual' video is not too good. People were in the way, it was dark, and I was rather far. I had a very good time. Met him and a few other fellas. Cool peeps. I look forward to checking him out again very soon.

So per my Tuesday Tune, I introduce you to Stu Hayden.

p.s. bout 1 min into the video, he makes a shout out to our table. lol

Our first "official" game was this past Wednesday. We had some hits. We made some plays. We didn't win. But we had fun at the game!

We we're doing pretty well in the first few innings. We were only down by two. Then mishaps started mishappening and we fell behind. Our next game is Monday at 7:30. Cross our Misfiit fingers we do better.

Tuesday Tunes

Everyone was a fan of Michael Jackson. I don't need to go into a long story about how he changed music and culture and people's lives and the WORLD. I figured it was about time I outta give my Michael shout out. There may be a handful of people I definitely wanted to see in concert. His sister Janet Jackson was one of them, and I was luckily able to see her in concert last year. And I had sooooo much fun. That concert got me moving, singing, and even crying. It touched me. And I can't even consider myself an extreme fan like there are out there. I can't even imagine how AWESOME it would have been to see Michael in person. People will miss out. I am one. But I consider myself lucky for knowing his music.

For my Tuesday Tunes I giving 3 songs, 2 videos, 1 artist.

1. My new MJ song that has now been added to my collection: "Working Day and Night" from the Off The Wall S.E. album.

2. "Bad" used to be my favorite song when I was younger. It was a classic and it still remains to be one of them. But about a year ago I've added a new favorite; "Blood on the Dancefloor".

3. And this video is probably my favorite Michael Jackson music video.

Tuesday Tune

I believe everyone knows how they were intro'd to music. Two people played a big role in my life for the music I now consider "what I grew up listening to". My mom and my cousin Richard. My mom and her four other older sisters grew up in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. So with no question, whenever there was music around the house, it was coming from old 45 or 33 vinyl records from our huge ass record player. And just the same, Richard was the one to intro me newer, modern, popular music of the 90s. I remember artists like Cyndi Lauper, Paula Abdul, Michael Jackson, and of course... MADONNA. The majority was Madonna. I remember his room being FILLED, I mean FILLED, from wall to wall to ceiling of Madonna memorabilia. What can I say, he was a devoted fan to say the least. And easily and willingly, I became one too and have been ever since. I've been wanting to see her in concert but haven't found anyone who would go with me yet. And I can't go with my cousin cuz he pays like hundreds of dollars on tickets.!Hopefully I can for her next tour. You never know when it's going to be her last.

Richard would always let me know when her new albums were going to come out. And call me over to listen to the new mixes he found. I could hear him bumping down the street! To this day it hasn't stopped. Today he let me in on the buzz of Madonna's release of her new video for her new single "Celebration". It was free today on itunes, and I downloaded it. And I LOVE IT! I wanna bump it!... and this is my TUESDAY TUNE!

The actual video is not avail yet on YouTube but here is the song....
